Crédal is a plural organization that strives to reinforce social cohesion and to develop a sustainable society through finances.
Its core activities is to gather money from its cooperative customers and lend it to organizations from within the social economy (solidarity-based loans), to micro-businesses through micro-credits and to individuals who are excluded from conventional banks (with social credits).
Thanks to an adequate financing, 149 organizations have been able to develop their social projects, 57 micro-businesses have created jobs and 474 people were able to improve their lives (data from 2009).
In order to reinforce the efforts of social service organizations and individuals excluded from the labour market, our business consulting services help social organizations to better develop and manage their activity. A special attention is given to unemployed women, providing them with training modules so they can create their own businesses.
