GAP-Madrid

Grupo de Apoyo a Proyectos (GAP) (Project Support Group) is a not-for-profit association created in 2000 to offer financial support through loans to social projects. It is an investment club just as many others in Spain. Its members make contributions with their savings which are then invested in social economy projects with people excluded from traditional financial systems.

GAP’s objectives are:

  • To promote and foster social and solidarity-based economy.
  • To develop activities on social and educational dissemination on alternative and solidarity-based finances, as well as social and solidarity-based economy.
  • To support and coordinate financial and economic initiatives based on social criteria, as well as purely monetary ones. They do this by contacting people wishing to place their savings in productive projects that are economically viable but also brining an added value to society.
